What a nice gift idea you've made& lovely colors. I'm sure these will do well in the sale. Be sure to let us cuties know how the fundraiser goes. Thanks for sharing your project& God's blessings. :~D
Very nice. you said you use the plastic for coathangers you might find it cheeper to use 4mm clear plastic tubing, should be able to buy at hardware store.
What a great idea ! If you don't mind I might steal your idea for my church who has just been restaured and has to rise a lot of money to pay it.
One question: What did you insert in the thread catcher ?
Cathie
Just find my answer !!
"Plastic Tubing . What you use to cover the hook on Coat hangers".
Roslyn, I always admire the things that you make!
Great work Roslyn, good to see this one came back up.
dailylaundry,,,, here is another thread catcher, very cute!
Great idea! What do you put in the pin cushion? Do you weight the pin cushion so that it stays on the table and the thread catcher bag hangs down the front of the table?
There is a Ceramic tile 6" square padded in the pin cushion. Not too much as you have to put it in the square material (open at one end with the hanger for the thread catcher attached) Then you stuff more "hobby fill" into the opening and then you close it up by hand. Add a button to the centre of the bag. The bag can be any size, and that has a loop of Plastic Tubing in it. About one and 1/4 times around the bag. Yes the bag does hang down in front of the table. Good luck
Great idea, you have been busy, you must have made a stall full by now.
They look great, i like the way you combined the designs with the fabric. Very clever!
Very clever . I like the top left the best!! Its a cutie :)
They are lovely. I would also like to know What do you put in as a ring to keep the thread catchers open???????????
Yvonne
Lovely, would also like to know what u used for the ring opening.
