Thanks forasking the question now I know too. Have a great day
Great question Yoriko - I have done what Ricky (mpo14011)has done - and it works really well. Not to mention having nothing extra to put on the hooping. Love and blessings Chris
I see you have your answer and the technique that I use, as well. Hehehe! Here is a *4U.
I am glad you asked this question because now I know too.!! I will also try it out on napkins.
Thank you all for your help! I made 4 napkins today and I used Adelmarie technique. It worked well. I like Rickys idea too, I should try next time. Thank you again! Love and blessings, Yoriko
Hi yoriko, I always use sticky tear away in the hoop, and just lay the corner on the sticky tear away stabilizer. It works for me.
Yoriko, what I have done is that I only hoop the stabilizer and then use sticky spray or sewing pins to hold the fabric in place( just make sure that the sewing pins are outside the emnroidery area). Also another techinque that I use is using the same color of bobbin thread on the bobbin that on the top you will get a very nice look from both sides of the napking.
Tack, with large tacking stitches, a scrappy piece of fabric around the napkin to make the corner big enough to fit in the hoop. Then stabilize and stitch as normal.Works every time. It is cheaper then sticky stabilizer and absolutely NO chance of slipping.
I did some while back and used regular tear away and painters blue tape to hold it in place and it worked fine.*****
I just did 6 napkins for easter and used Sulky's Sticky paper, and it worked great. I hooped the paper and laid the napkin on top where I wanted it. Turned out great.
I have an Embroidery Placement Chart from Allstitch LLC and it says,"Napkins 3" from diagonal corner fold." I placed mine in a hoop with stablizer as you would do any other item
you could use that sticky paper it is like contact i use it for work that will not fit in the hoop to well *4u
I have not the foggest of an idea. But can bump u to the top. Sorry :(
