This is a really neat festival. I stumbled across a few ago when sweetie and I were in the area with unrelated business. Took time to stop at my instance and really enjoyed it. There was a black artist who works in acrylics that I have followed his works for years at Stone Mountain Yellow Daisey Festival that really captures my attention. Don't know his name but he does primitive scenes. Love them!! I could have bought one for $50 to $75 years ago and he is getting $500. and up now.
very nice photos. I think cherry blossoms are some of the prettiest ever. thankyou for sharing.
Lovely photos! I have Yoshino cherries blooming all over my neighborhood. I have a "to die for" Kwanzan Japanese cherry right in my front door. I'll make pictures when it blooms. That is usually right at Easter, then it rains really hard and I have a pink carpet on the front lawn.;)
Lovely pictures, Lilian. It will be another month I think before anything starts blossoming here.
Lillian, Great pictures! Oh, I miss cherry blossoms festival and seeing those pretty flowers!!!**4u

Look forward to seeing your photos. In Japan they give a list of dates where cherry blossom can be seen round the country and when. Yoriko could tell us more.
Yes, there are lots of websites giving the list of dates for cherry blossoms in each prefecture, from south to North of Japan. It seems it started ealier this year. I'll miss them though :(
