How wonderful to have lived a century. So much she has seen & so many changes, certainly not all for the better. Glad she's home now Kay & God Bless. Lillian
Kay, I also hope she will enjoy her birthday. She will be in my prayers and thoughts. Love,Yoriko
Oh my goodness, your Mum sounds lovely, and I think its great that she is at home, and hope that she recovers to make her 100th birthday
Kay, I hope she recovers enough to enjoy that special birthday. At this age recovery is so slow, but being in her own home must mean a lot to her.
Dear Kay, I will pray for you and your Mother - it can't be easy - to have her in such a fragile state - but I think the doctor was smart to have her stay at home - she will rally around - for her birthday - if nothing else - you stay strong for her and let her know - that we are praying for her and only wish a speedy recovery for each of you.
I hope she improves so she will see her 100th birthday! She has seen so many changes in her lifetime! I will keep her in my prayers. Hugs for you. Mary
What a fantastic age to reach. Have a friend with a granny who will be 102 or is it 103 this year. Hope all goes well with you all
God Bless your Mom...I do hope she makes it to 100...what a life..history has changed so much in just the 50some years that I have...but 100...that is really something...My prayers are with her!
Oh, Kay you MUST send a note to Willard Scott so he can wish your mom a Happy Birthday on national TV.! I don't know if our current president does, but all of the rest have sent birthday cards to everyone who requests them for 100th birthdays. That is really special! What a blessing for you that she is being cared for.
I mentioned it to my sister earlier about Willard Scott. I will have to do it again. With my family's strong Republican ties, don't know about current political recognition. She is the daughter of a Tn. Governor( Ben W. Hooper)
