Jerrilyn, you crack me up!! I'm going to watch for Shirley Goodnest & Marcy, it would be nice to know they're there.....hee hee hee, love you, Marji
No, I didn't just smile, I giggled out loud! Sometimes I am sure my hubby thinks I'm crazy laughing out loud while on line at CuteEmb! Tks!
I don't get much time to read and post right now, but I am glad I saw this one! I loved it! Thank you so much!
:) I don't know if I will ever forget this one... Psalm 23 is one of my favorite!
THNAX so much for this one...Made me remember when I was in 1st grade....a really long time ago...Sister Richard Marie would ask questions from the Baltimore Catacism and we would have to reply with the standard answer....1st Questions was "Who is God"? the answer:::::::: God is a String Bean:::::
Yes that is right....in the ears of a 6 year old you hear that.....BUT we were suppose to say is "God is a Supreme Being"..I'm sure THAT is Why they did away with that book!!
Oh, I remember it well, only it was Sister Euphrasia, hee hee hee. And it was the neighbor boy who told his parents about learning the song about a cross-eyed bear for church. Aunt Sally questioned Bobby about it, and learned the bear's name was Gladly. "Why are you singing about a bear in church?" "I don't knowwwww!!" wailed Bobby (he was always a cry baby, hee hee hee) When his mom finally got him to sing it, he belted out, "Gladly the Cross I'd bear....." And you wonder where these jokes come from, true story. Hee hee hee
What is written in PSalm 23rd in English? I have to get an English Bible :)
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all of the days of my life and I will live in the house of the Lord, forever. (just a play on words.;)
There are several sites that have the Bible in English for free. You can even search the Bible.

I like them both and use them both.
I laughed untill I cried for breath, thank you so much for sharing this!
I sure smiled. Hope we all have Shirley Goodnest and Marcy following us all the days of our lives.
Jerrilyn, thank you - I have been searching for this one - I was trying to tell a friend the story and got off track some - now I can share this with them. Hehehe! I never tire of the good ones.
Nice story. Let's hope we all have Shirley Goodnest and Marcy with us for all of our days.
