once for the rest of the colors.I changed to a new nedle before I started.I have never had thread to break that often.I am using the same thread I always use. Thanks for any advice.

Thanks everyone, I call it interfacing because the thick one looks like stabilizer.I had bought some at jo ann and ran out.went to the fabric store and got the wrong thing didn't see any other,won't do that again.I did get the workbook debleer1 told me about and checked out the other site lindaavolio told me about, thanks for all the help.Everyone is so helpful.

Also make sure your bobbin is in correctly and your using embroidery bobbin thread.

You don't use interfacing for embroidery. You must use a good quality stabilizer.

You need to use the correct stabilizer for your fabric and stitch density. Printout the Stabilizer Workbook at Floriani under the Solutions tab. It's a great resource no matter what brand you use.
