This bird is called Galah, it's the first time I see this pretty bird. Usually I have lorikeets and roselas visiting my yard, Australia is really blessed having such beautiful birds! Love&hugs,Yoriko

580295721Oh how beautifull, I also am a avid birdlover, and have lots of beautifull birds coming to my very birdfriendly garden, but not as beautifull as this. These we only have as pets. We do have the lovely green and red sugarbirds, and they are very much smaller than the Galah. Also the canary yellow, and canary yellow and black striped finches that love to feed of the feeders. I do have 3 different kind of doves, and they are so pretty, and will walk on the lawn with me, and sit on our back stoep (the tiled area) while I am drinking my morning coffee.

Waterlily, I'm very lucky! It's wonderful to watch the nature just right in front of you, not going to the Zoo (like in Japan) to see them!

They are beautiful, indeed! Also millions lorikeets come to Coolangatta to sleep every night. They are very noisy, but I love to watch them.
