Oh that is going to be treasured by your SIL I haven't made a clock yet, but I did buy some clocks at goodwill to make a few. xoxox *
What an effort. Well done Let's hope your son-in-law appreciates all your work.
He will roslyn I stay indebted to him anyway, since my DH is unable to do anything anymore, this SIL does much much more than his share of the work around here plus his cp knowledge has gotten me through many a crisis. *4U
Wow, Lillian, this is a great work! I'm sure your SIL will love it!
I was always afraid to make one, the way you present it, it sound time consuming but easy, thanks for showing it*
It really wasn't 1 hr at the tops, Clock face design done n 15 mins. It's not difficult & the clock was only $5.00. try it. thank u *
Great work, Lilian, I'd be afraid I would never get the hands back on properly.
nice and a good idea. You all on here are so clever at what you do. *4u all
What a wonderful idea...May I ask if you embroidered the clock face first before buying the actual clock..Just curious to know how you knew what size clock to buy? I am always inspired by other's projects I see posted and sometimes it gives me a boost to pull out some of those designs I have stashed but not yet stitched because I am not sure of making it all come together full circle..I am inspired now to try my clock faces! thanks! Awesome job!!! *
No I purchased the clock first, measured & then embroidered the face. Actually it came together very easy & quickly the hardest part was taking the clock apart but got DH to help me. Next time I'll be able to do it with no help.
It is great . I hope to try one .Hopefully for Xmas gifts for grandkids
