I really need to organize all my freebies better, finish another project, do all the mending, but I can't seem to get it together.

Want to do something fun for myself......

I would just do what I feel like the moment I get up in the morning. With my hubby at home all of the time, I would do all the things I cannot while he is around (much as I love him). I will first go and have a morning shopping and browsing in the shops (he hates it), then I would arrange for my best friends to meet me and have "lengthy" cup (cups) of coffee somewhere (not home) with them.
After that is out of the way I will be starting to wish he was home, and get to doing everything I want to do at home. Go to bed in the wee hours of the next morning (I love to work at night) he does not like it (for my own good that is). When I have done all I would like to do, and when, I will start cooking food for myself (first it will just be nice junk food, which I realy may not eat, because I am diabetic, and he makes sure I eat correctly), and lastly, within a week I would be wishing he was coming home now.!!!!!!!! I know what it is like, because my hubby used to be away a lot of the time when he was still working. Good luck with those files, I think you will eventually get that done too !!!! Lol. God bless. Sorry, forgot to mention, except for my classes, that is going very well, I will spend hours on the computer, talking to all (that is more hours, before he brings me a newspaper cutting saying "husbands lose out to PCs") LOL, and this is very true, I do not know where he got the cutting, but it is pasted onto my wall next to the puter.

Dee, it sounds to me - that you already know what you want and should do - so get it started - but be prepared for the baby - above all else. Work on the files - at least every day - finish the project and the mending - things will come along - time will show what you did with it - the strange thing is - it will be the same time - whether you do a thing or not - that choice is yours. GET R Done, if you ask me!

I always treasured the time alone that my hubby went to basketball for a long weekend in March....NOW it is a different story....Take time for yourself....finish the baby stuff FIRST...then I would make a GRANDMA shirt to wear to the hosp..when the baby is born...in 7/10 days YOU won't have time to do anything for yourself...You will be doing everything for the baby...they are so fun to stitch for ...DO a Birth announcement blanket or wall hanging with ALL the info on it!!!

I think organising the designs is a very good idea.it takes a lot of time, and our husbands mostly see this as doing nothing behind the PC, so no comment like that for you,if he's gone :) LOL

Oh! I could think of a million things! Why don't you first - before you do all that go and pamper yourself for a day spa. Get completely relaxed and then you can face the task ahead. Look at me saying this, I am sitting on here doing this, when I should be finishing off a memory quilt that is lying behind me on my billiard table. All it needs is the binding, but I just can't seem to get the enthusiasm to finish it. Well tomorrow is another day, so they say. We as women always have so much to do, but I really think it is beneficial to our psyche to pamper ourselves occasionally, don't you?

Have a great 6-8 weeks doing all those extra things.
Love and blessings Chris
