For several months now, I've noticed Zillions of embroidery designs are Alphabets. Seems the market if saturated with Alphabets. Are they easy to digitize or do y'all really use 'that many alpha's'??

There are some really pretty sets being offered and I'm not complaining, just wondering if anyone else has noticed.

Thanks everyone for your input and inspiration of what you use Alpha's for. Lots of great ideas shared by all. I only collect the ones that I really love, and have deleted many I collected when I first started. But it's kinda like a lot of designs, I collect and if I haven't used it in six months, then I delete. Even now if I embroidered something every day for the rest of my life, I don't think I would ever use all the designs...sigh

Join the crowd it becomes obsessive once you start just ask alpha man. I too have many and keep just in case. I like personalizing tea towels for family.

First of all: As a bookworm i have to be addicted to alphas- that is the fun part of my job ;-))
Yes, digitizing is easier- because of the limited space to fill and even autopunched designs can give good results.
And why to collect so many different?
I often embroider things as gifts (... well- I think I do not own one piece of my work myself...) and I love to persolalize this with the name or hobbies/ interests of this special person.
And I made some toddler quilts in the "A is for Apple" style. An Apple alpha is indispesable here.

And do not forget:
at least 26 reasons for re-visiting a website and (if it is an annoying hunt) millions of clicks through the sites. That makes your website valuable
for advertisement clients. Ingenius.

I just love all the different designs for alphabets.
I have quite a collection now to select when I need one. I'm still looking for the perfect "B" to do a set of towels for a wedding gift - her colors are white and black.

Adding to my net wealth, since other investments are disappearing by the hour, it is nice to see "something" that actually increases every day. Hey, it can't get less than free and I have many. They make me happy to look at them even if I never use them.
