hope you find the answer too in the mean time here is a flower
i have 11000 and us e digi-pro, v.2 and i hear that the new version 3 corrects this. i also have the ma hoop, but have only used it for the designs that came in the machine. (they stitch out great) i mostly use the 8x8 hoop now, i LOVE it! i cannot make a ma sized design in digi-pro and then save it. it locks up and boots off. so much for that... i am sorry i am of no help, but had to reply since you named my machine. LOVE IT!!!
It's locking up & shutting off because you need more RAM. Turn off the visualizer, and go into settings and change that auto-save, sometimes it's set for every 10 minutes. Set it for half hour, and remember to save yourself. Also, when you save changes as you make them and like them, those changes are now in the ROM instead of RAM, and free up space for you. Good luck, Marji
Ok, let me take a stab a this, Cricket. I have the Janome 300E, not the 11000, so this is an educated guess. I hope someone who has the 11000 has a better answer, or did you ask the dealer? They should be your best resource on the tools you have put so much money into, and so much into thier pockets, too, hee hee hee.
I know I can get the gigahoop for my 300E, but in essence that's just 2 B hoops together, to eliminate re-hooping. The field size is still no larger than one B hoop, 7 inches. You have to put the designs together in customizer, or Digitizer. the new Digitizer Pro has a really cool tool for doing that, but I can't afford it, hee hee hee. And as I understand it, even if you put the design together in the gigahoop, you still have to sew it out in two parts, turning the hoop around for the second part, because the field size is still 7" in the machine, no matter the size of the hoop. I don't know if the 11000 is supposed to have a bigger field size or not, that you'd have to check with the dealer. Most places like Embroidery Library, and BFC and others who do large designs, warn that they are for commercial machine field sizes. Did that help any at all? Hugs, Marji
