This one has a frame inside you can collaps, when not in use. The frame is made of a steel-material, so it is very steady/stabil (dont know the word in english).
I travel more times a week, and I have one to put in the car with "carstuff", books for listening, water, sunglasses and so on. And another one in the back of the car to take with me to the room with some extra clothes, toothbrush and that kind of stuff. It is much faster packing that way.
These are great - do they collapse down when not in use?
Great idea to embroidery this type of shopping basket. Well done. They sell those baskets here (the Netherlands) as well.
that's so pretty..I too would like to know where'd you get the basket? and did you use rip stop nylon from Joann Fabrics??? thanks for sharing..*4u
Well, I bought the basket at Coop, but they are only in Scandinavia. These baskets are popular here in Denmark, but most of them is difficult or impossible to dismantled. Maybe somebody else know where to buy these in US.
For embroidering I just used a very stable tear away and sew'ed the basket unto this instead of putting it in the frame itself. And I put the machine on slow. I have a picture of the proces, I will try and look for it.
thanks so much for the information and the picture of how you did this..*4u and thanks to 10tje for the link to purchase the basket - *4u2
Poa, this is very lovely - great work.
