That looks like a plan that really paid off. Enjoy that new machine!
I hate to show my lack of knowledge but what does the "p" in 50p stand for? And how much is that in USA currency? I might need one before to long. I have a Janome 6600 straight sewing (no emb) machine, and I really like it for quilting. Congrats, and happy sewing. GG
(DAH .. is it pounds?)
50p is 50Pence (pennys) you need to look up the exchange rate between USA and UK yo get the value
What a great way to make yourself save money. I'm glad it all added up to help you get a wonderful new machine.
What a smart idea! Congratulations on your new machine. I hope that you love it! *4U
What a clever idea, I never thought of that! I hope you get lots of enjoyment sewing with your new machine. And here's a flower to start filling up your piggy bank again!
Great idea, and congratulations on your new machine!! Love, Marji
What a clever chookie you are (pun intended) I would never have thought to do that.
I'm so glad we were contributing to your happiness and to think we didn't even know it.

Fantastic idea I do something similar I put all my change in a container. There is a big craft show here in toronto in the fall. I use it to buy thread, stabalizer, material and such. what machine did you get I have a Janome memory craft 350 e and love it. Happy stitching.
Annie, CONGRATULATIONS and what a clever idea - if I could have afforded to do that - I think I would be a very seriously happy lady, too. What sort of machine did you purchase and when will we see your first project? *4U
I am just happy that i did not need to put all the money into the box for the flowers but it soon mounted up.
