All of these designs came from the Cute Embroidery site. I'm just getting around to using the designs. It was made for a secret sister gift. Because I'm the only one in the group that does this I couldn't give this type of gift during the year or she would know who it was. I love cross stitch and snowflakes. I was very pleased as to how they turned out. I was aiming for a random snowflake design but it turned out more balanced than I intended.

Very nice. I immediately saw a heart in the snowflake layout and thought it was intentional! Your subconscious at work?

It looks great, I think the placement of all the elements looks good. A hint that I read somewhere about random placement of designs was to use some small objects eg. paperclips or the like, gather the required number in your hand and gently throw them at the object to be embroidered, then mark where they landed and embroider them in those positions.
