Hi Meg, they sure look great on you. Barb did a good job. What a lovely smile you have. You are in my prayers. Hope all goes well. Hugs Yvonne
You are TRULY a cutie in those hats! Nicely done Barb. I wish I lived closer to you and you could teach me how to make them. Hang in there BETTY!
Meg, You have got to be a joy to be around! You are so full of fun even with all that is going on. Ray is one lucky guy to have found you! Of course, I think you are lucky to have him also! I love the head warmers and the faces that went with them. You can almost make me laugh this afternoon.
My 13 yr old Pekingese, Bebe is losing her battle with her cancer. She is at the point where nothing can be done anymore. It is just wait and decide when the horrible deed must be done. She is my genle, loving little angel and we have been through so much together. All I have done for days is watch over her and cry. She does not seem to be in any pain right now but I have had to put her where she will not get on the carpet. She can no longer control either functions. She is still eating but not dog food. She has me trained well. She is eating well... Boiled chicken, steak, carrots(loves them)etc. I will feed her anything she will eat now. She is sleeping alot but when she gets to suffering then I will carry her to the Vet and have her put down. I promised her when we found out about the cancer that I would not let her suffer. I had her mama & daddy. She has been with me all her life. Right now, I am thinking, less than a week left. All I can do is cry. They do not have things to treat furbabies with like humans. She is getting so frail. Heck, I have lost 10 lbs myself. This is the baby, that when I fell and the ambulance had to be called, my neighbor came and unlocked the door at 4:00 in the morning, she stood on my chest and would not let them get close to me. I was not hurt. I had just got out of the hospital and was still too sick & weak to get up. I had a cell phone around my neck. They had to call my best friend to come get Bebe and put her up before they could load me in the ambulance. My neighbor that had the key was a male and a friend of my sons. He could not get in the house. That was about 5 years ago. My son had to make a 3 hour drive to get her. He ended up keeping her for 8 months. I had surgery and ended up in the nursing home for that long. The same thing is wrong with my legs again, just not as bad. It is caused from poor circulation. It is my turn to look after her now. IT JUST HURTS! She has always been like a little angel. She is the sweetest baby! NOW, the 4 yr old is a different story. She is sweet, but like a white tornado from morning to night! She has a completely different personality. She is jealous and wants her way about everything! Bebe tolerates her and pays it no attention. She try to be a big sister to her.
You actually did get a smile out of me this afternoon. I do admire you so much. You have such a delightful personality. My prayers go out to you that when you get though with these treatments that you get a clean bill of health and you never have any trouble with any of this again! If we all pray and believe that God will do this, miracles can happen. The Lord listens to our prayers. May you always be as cheerful as we all see you online. Linda in Ga
I am so sorry to read about your Bebe and believe me i do understand.
If you look at the first photo you will notice my little Tidgey Girl, she is 14 years old and spends most of her days inside now.
Christmas 07 she disappeared and I was beside myself thinking of her lying somewhere, curled up to die. I cancelled Christmas and spent the day delivering 'Lost' pamphlets door to door around the neighbourhood. Yes I understand your sadness, that is the only drawback to loving our pets so much, we always outlive so many of them.
hugs n roses, Meganne
You look wonderful in all the hats. I especially like the multi colored one. God bless you. Jan
You have to be the best person to have around Meg, you keep us smiling day in and day out. A very very special lady, so glad I got to meet you even though it is across cyberspace...who knows might even get to make it in person one day if I ever manage to get to your side of the globe...big hugs x0x0x0x
