Hi Everyone, The 3 pictures above are a gift for a special lady as a thank you. The magnolia designs come from Embroidery DK, I used the pieces of the designs to 'make' my own designs for the 2 pink ones, the white one is available as is on the site. The designs all measure approx 200 x 260 mm and took about 2.5 hours to embroider. Due to the number of stitches in each design, I used 3 layers of stabiliser, 1 fusible and the other 2 cutaway (one of these was floated underneath the hoop). I embroidered them on purple suede fabric. My DH made the timber frames and we both attached the embroidery to them. I will post individual pictures too so you can see more detail. Cheers, Claire

These are beautiful. You did a great job and I know your friend will love your gift. I love magnolias. Sure do miss my magnolia tree.
