I just went and voted, and mine also showed 5667 ... WHAT IS UP???? (The 2nd number was 47655 IT MUST BE THE SECOND NUMBER .. I just went back in AGAIN and it showed 47657 ... MUST BE WORKING .. GO CUTIES. HOWEVER, WHY ARE WE IN 3RD IF IT IS THE SECOND NUMBER????

See Martine's answer, the number of votes is only updated every half hour or so, you won't see it change immediately. The second number is the number of people that come to ET, either from Cute or from somewhere else, and click on the Cute banner to check out the website.

I just voted, it was at 5667.

Something's not right here if by Martine's count there were only 9 votes registered in 14 hours. Even with the time differences, seems like there are more than 9 members here just from OZ, that are active and do vote. Some of us are voting while others are sleeping, but still, "Something is rotten in Denmark". Ok, the ET site isn't in Denmark, and it's an obscure reference to Shakespeare's Hamlet, but what do you guys expect from an old English major, hee hee hee. I can do Larry the Cable Guy, too, "That just ain't RIGHT". Minicow, want to keep track of this for a bit? No wonder we've falled to 3rd place, if all our votes are being miscounted somehow. It was 5651 18 hours ago and 5660 4 hrs ago. I have not looked again, but it's worth keeping an eye on it. Like your Shakespeare, als am unable to think of a good one in reply. he he.

As I don't write down the number of votes I can't say how many people voted. The number of votes is updated every half hour, so voting and going back to check is no use, you would have to wait for the next update to see how many votes were added, not knowing if yours was one of them.

I wrote the numbers down after I posted this and had a look again now. In 14 hrs there were 9 votes registered!

Vote every day and never see a change in the score.

I voted as it has been asked to do and the number still seems to be staying the same. Something is not right!

I understood from a previous post I was supposed to go to "click here to vote this site" and turn off my pop-up blocker. Click on the "vote" and it took me to "Enter this Site". Once I was at the Embroidery Top.com site, I HAD VOTED. I just did it as a test ... www.embroiderytop.com/index.html was at the top. Are you saying all this time I HAVE NOT been voting???? I never knew to check it before. Please tell me EXACTLY WHAT TO DO!! THANKS IN ADVANCE. GG

GG, you are doing it right. When you click on "click here to vote this site", watch your address line in your browser, you will get the ET.com address with all the gobbledegook. When you click "Enter this Site", the address will change to just ET.com. The series of numbers & letters & signs in the first address tells the ET site WHERE the vote is coming from, i.e., Cute. Clicking on "Enter this Site" registers that vote for Cute at ET. You are doing it right, just keep doing it that way.

For those of you just going to embroiderytop.com, if that's the address you're putting in your browser, or have as a favorite, you are NOT doing it right. The ET website has to know what the address is that the vote is coming from, therefore all the information after the .com. That tells it the vote is coming from Cute. If you don't have that information there, in your browser address line, before you click on "enter this site", you are essentially voting for your own laptop. Is this any clearer, I hope? If not, ask again, and I'll try again, K? Hugs, Marji

Make sure you do not just go to Embroidery Top.com, it has to say the "top/rankem.cgi?id+aborable" words in your browser's web address line, or it won't be counted as a vote for Cute. If you have Embroidery Top bookmarked, and it doesn't have the other stuff in the line, you're not voting!! The gobbeldygook words tell the ET website you're voting for cute. Also, if you can't find a message with the link in, every time you download any freebie from Cute, there is a place under it where it says "Vote for this site", and a line to click. Also, Letvia posts the link every day in her voting request. Just click on "voting request" tag on the left side of the page, you'll see all her posts, the link will be in any one of them. I don't know why the numbers aren't changing, but we need to make them move!! Love, Marji
