Hi, sounds like you have the Futura Machine from Singer like me. When you optimize the design for speed it doesn't do as many securing stitches and if you have long satin stitches in the design it will do smaller ones. I'm sure you have noticed that the longer the stitches are the slower the machine goes. So it kinda depends on what you are stitching. If you are doing lettering and it has long satin stiches you would not want to optimize the design because it wouldn't be as nice. you will just have to play with it and see what will optimize well and what won't. you could try a name with long satin stiches and try it both ways so you can see the difference
Eva, I don't know what machine you have, but I always reduce my speed on the machine when embroidery. Sorry I cannot help.
Not sure, but think it has to do with reducing the number of thread changes, etc. I don't change the original sequence of the threads. Don't think it has anything to do with the noise though.
I always embrode at reduced speed, I saw on a site that the result is best...but the noise is the same :o)
Sorry i ahve no idea what machine do you have maybe that will help someone to answer your question. My machine allows me to change the speed, with some designs i do get a better resultbut i ahve never been asked that question. Hope someone can help you good luck. failing a cutie to answer you could either, ring the store you got it from, locate the machines website and email them, or the person who services your machine. * while you wait :)
Evajungermann, I have no idea but will send you to the top again.
