Dear maryclampitt, please feel free to have a look at a question marjialexa posted a short while before you, wish I knew how to link you straight to her post. She has some valuable info that you will want to know before you use any design.

No, you are not, normally you can. At some sites they don't allow you to sell more than a certain numder a year. But we are all amazed at the Cute-Graphics rules: you cannot sell articles embroidered with embroidery designs you got (free or paid for) from a digitiser who bought their artwork unless you pay them a fee as well.

I make these really cute aprons that I have been giving away to family and friends for special occasions. Everyone tells me to sell them and my son has been bugging me to sell them on ebay. I haven't sold any because I just don't feel I'm that good, so I give them away. But I have thought of maybe selling because my family and friends want some for their friends. Giving to my family and friends is one thing but when their friends want stuff, I mean come on it takes me approx. 8 hrs to do one apron.

I can understand that you want to sell certain items. I sell certain things as well or give hem away to be sold for charity. Make sure you download the 'rules' per digitiser / embroidery site. Then you know exactly what if any restrictions there are for the designs you use.
