Thanks tinfriend , I was searching for trapunto designs but could not find any. Love Marie.
Thanks, but I do not know what Trapunto is. Could some explain it for me. I am still pretty new to embroidery
I found the following info for you when I 'Googled' it :
1. Trapunto is another way to add texture and dimension to your quilting. By stuffing or filling an area, then quilting it, a raised surface, or relief, is formed that gives shape to stems, leaves, and other motifs. It’s a very elegant look!
2. Trapunto quilting

Trapunto quilting (Italian for "to embroider"), also called stuffed technique, is a quilting technique that is quite decorative in that it utilizes at least two layers, which is padded from the underside. This produces a raised surface on the quilt. This style originated in Italy in either the fourteenth century [1] or the sixteenth century. [2]
3.In quilting, trapunto is creating raised images or sections of fabric on the surface of the quilt with batting.
Hope that this assists you!
