I already told her that I won't do it. Since I told her that, she won't talk to me now.

Yes, it must be flame retardant material. If she makes them herself, and doesn't care if her kids are safe, she can do anything she wants. But if you make them, as a paid seamstress, you could be blamed if anything happened like they were playing by the stove and the pj's caught fire. I know it sounds stupid, and it is, but remember the coffee lady that sued McDonalds because she didn't know hot coffee was hot, and won. If she's strange enough to not speak to you for telling her kids pj's need to be flame retardant, maybe she isn't somebody you want to have speaking to you anyway? That seems like a rather extreme reaction to me, over pajamas. What is she asking you to make them out of? Good luck to you, hugs, Marji

I thought so. I knew I told her right. Thank you for reassuring me. *4U

Why tell her no? As long as she or you buy the right material: it has to be "flame retardant" material... It doesn't really cost that much more. I would suggest you get small samples and show it to her. Good Luck! *4U, Mary

Yes they do if you live in australia, And as for her not speaking to you because you wont do some thing for her then she has a problem and i say let any emoition you have go and leave it to her she is the one missing out on a good friend for careing enough to protect her and your self.
