Second lot of 3 - same message though. LOL!!

OK, so I started these in December 2008, a week before I hopped on the medi-go-round with breast cancer. But I did finish them this weekend after reading Daisy's post and accepting the gentle nudge to finish something. Thanks Daisy.

I was disappointed with these as there were so many jump stitches to have to trim, but I suppose they finished OK. They were from Gorgeous Stitches and I put all six in an 8" x 14" hoop, making up over 158,000 stitches.

I added some glitter to the bells while they were still wet.

Thanks for peeking, hugs n roses, Meganne

They look great finished. I did a few from this set last year and although they look great finished, I wasn't so fussed on how they stitched either. I often add the fairy dust as my lace is drying too.. I like the effect.

They are beautiful!! I might have to "borrow" your glitter idea. It is a perfect finishing touch!

They are beautiful. Are you keeping these for yourself? Thanks for adding where you got the designs.

I had originally planned to use them in Christmas cards I create, that way my friends will have a Christmas tree ornament to keep.

Meganne, seeing your project just made my day, thank you! It's lovely to know that you are having fun again! At first glance I thought you used some of that Mother of pearl colored thread, then again it made me smile seeing that you also love fairy dust, it's also one of my favourite toys.

Lovely bells, well done. The design doesn't look as if more than a few jump stitches are necessary, sloppy digitizing, some careful thought and it can be done much , better.

Meganne, the glitter is a great addition. I stitched this complete set at Christmas and the jump stitches really drove me nuts. The designs are beautiful, but need to be "cleaned up". Hope you can continue stitching and sharing your creations with us--love the inspiration.

Meg, they turned out great - I know just what you mean about the jump stitches - I hated that about these designs - but they do look wonderful - glad you took the challange. *4U
