You all could try the baby pony tail holders from the dollar store. They work great.

Err, i have solved the problem of those loose tails on the bobins with ease. i simply fasten the threads down with a lick. DNA is a marvelouse thing and we do use it so much, eyebrows need shapeing a bit of spit will hold them in place, need to hold that strand of hair in a spick yep that bit of spit did it when i was a teen and its free and allways available. i use a clear spectacle case to hold my bobbins. all the white in one all my black in another and then the one with the small amounts of colored. A local optician puts out a bin of these cases for free and i find lots of uses for them

Because I usually use white bobbin thread, the bobbins are usually empty, until I stop what I'm doing and fill them up. Happiness is 12 full bobbins.

I bought clear rubber tubing from my local hardware store and cut it in 1/4" rings. Then I snipped it so it does basically the same thing as the "Bobbin Buddy". I bet the tubing was a lot cheaper. Since I have probably at least 100 colored bobbins wound I need to save where I can.

I followed a suggestion made by another CUTE member and bought a set of two of the stack n store bobbin holders from Shoppers Rule - I am not sure which will work the best - as all tools end up working for those that have them - I have been using those round bobbin holders for years and doing rather well with them:

I also ordered the stack n stores from Shopper'sRule, I have many bobbin organiser but hate the loose threads. LOL!!! But I don't think i'll like my threads being exposed to heat, dust, humidity et.c and there's no where to write the colour on it so it's easy to see. HnR, M

You can put color #s on the tubing with tape and remove it if you use the cover for a new color. Works great and the tubing protects the thread from dust.

Shirlene. Love the Image 1. Nothing like this in Aust, or I have been shopping in the wrong places. Lyn

Shirlener, besides the lovely colour these clips remind me of similar clips I can buy at the pet shop for my aquarium .... I might pop in there tomorrow, thanks for sharing this lovely idea!

These are great as well, but again I have never seen anything like these here in Aust. Lyn
