Hi Michele, she is just stunning. I love azaleas - my Mum grows them and some of them are just delicious.
Mum says it's usually the cold that does this to them!!!
Love and blessings to you.
Michele, this is why I love Cute. Sewing and flowers are my passion. Fantastic you took the photo. I have a white rose bush, and when it rains the rain drops usually turn the sections pink. It is always so pretty to see. Iceburg is it's name. Don't you just love finding gems like this in the garden. It is too cold/frost here to grow azalea's. Pity as I love all flowers. Thanx for sharing.
Yes I love sewing and the garden too. This one doesn`t get raindrops as it is on my patio and I water it myself..But I was so over the moon to see this one....it`s nearly as good as mariahail`s green rose.......lol....nearly........
It's beautiful, Michele! Azalea is my city's flower. We have it in most of the roads and the city is beautiful in spring time with this pretty flower. I didnt know it grows in Australia too, good to know, that is my next project: plant some azaleas in my garden!!! Love, Yoriko
Thanks Yoriko.(All the way from Japan) Don`t you remember when you came to my house and I have a red one as well on the patio!!!! Yes, you will have to get one too....They are so pretty.....
beautiful, Michele! Often when nurseries are growing new plants, they will graft a limb (or something) onto another & create a "new" plant. I would say your azalea was at one time part of a pink on! Can't mess with Mother Nature?? But enjoy your unique plant & tell us what happens NEXT year...even though You'll probably have to remind us of this year!!
Thanks for the info. Its just weird as there is actually 3 flowers on the one stem and that one is the only one with pink....I will see what happens next year.
Michele - this could be a prize winner - do you have anyone that you can call or send a picture to?
Thanks Shirlene, yes could probably take it o a Nursery if I could lift the pot...It`s in a massive big one......
