You did a great job on that difficult fabric. They are lovely.
These are great. I did hankies for a wedding 3 years ago. The bride asked that the initial be placed in the corner, and one was given for each family member attending the wedding. A good rememberence.
oh wow barb these came out great thank u for showing them nice job the bride will love them
They came out beautiful. Those thin fabrics are not so easy. I use the H@)gone as well and I find if I use heavy starch It seems to help. Congratulations on a job well done, on a not so simple project.

Barb, how many did you have to do??? They look great. (Its funny a bride-to-be only in November, asked me about embroidery on hankies)
Your comment to Shirlene"The H2Ogone that Miss Charlie suggested from walmart..I did double it though!!!) SORRY WHAT DOES THIS MEAN???????
* 4 u Hugs Yvonne
Shirlene asked what I used cuz last week b-4 I started I asked in community...Misscharlie is the one who suggested that I get h2Ogone at the local wal mart...I DID, but used it doubled and had NO trouble....they are thinner than toilet paper!!!
and I had to do 9 of them...some of her new family is albanian so the wording isn't familiar to me!
They look absolutely great! You've done a lovely job on them. They are sure to become treasured keep-sakes. Flowers for you.
Barb, these are lovely - what did you use to work with this lightweight hankie?
The H2Ogone that Miss Charlie suggested from walmart..I did double it though!!!
Thank you for responding - of coarse - I didn't realize that the brand that Walmart carried was called H2OGone - as I use that and the WSS I have seen there is much thinner than the H2OGone that I have purchased - nonetheless - I knew that WSS would work the best for this - did you also starch the hankie before stitching?
No but I think that some of the h2O wasn't completely GONE cuz the hankies ironed up sooo nice...I would do them again, and the bride told me she would tell her sister and friends!!
Well she should be absolutely thrilled with the results. You've done a great job on difficult fabric, so you should feel justifiably proud of yousrelf. Hugs n roses, Sis
Blhamblen, you did a lovely job, even when they where sooo thin, well done!
