Well, I guess I don't mind sounding critical of a digitizer, lavonda, because the designs from sweet embroidery are all pretty bad. I have downloaded a few freebies because they were cute, but on looking at them in Digitizer Pro, they are awful. Yes, they are auto-digitized, and badly so. The auto-digitizing is not even tweaked a bit to even it up. There are probably 50 jump stitches in a design. It always amazes me when people get so excited about downloading a free design from this site, because the designs are so uniformly badly done. They get cute clip art, but anyone who does not show actual sew outs is suspect in my book. And yes, the puppies were free from Clipartopolis, there was a set of kitties like this, as well. It's not the art that's faulty, but the digitizer. Imagine how many $7's they get even if only once, and it's not enough money for people to complain about losing. This site is a rip-off, and people should be aware of it. Hugs, Marji
Thanks Lavonda for your review, and to fhood for asking. I like to hear reviews from people who actually stitched out designs.
I have a membership to sweetembroidery that I purchased last year(they sent me an e-mail for an offer of $7. for a year so why not try it) and so far it hasn`t been worth that for me. I downloaded the puppies and am stitching one as I write this. So far, not looking too good. Some of the stitches in the outline are too narrow and skimpy looking. It is now repeatedly jumping from one side to the other after making a few stitches. It looks as if it may have been auto digitized. I don`t like auto digitized designs as they just don`t turn out a good quality project for me. I have Embird and open the designs with it and can see how it will stitch out. I think these little puppies are so cute...may have been the free clipart from Clipartopolis a few weeks ago. I don`t want to sound critical of the digitizer, so please forgive me if it does. Just trying to answer your question. Hope this helps.

Thank you LaVonda, I am usually skeptical when you see a picture that doesn't show a stitched design.
