Anyway, at least now it's all down to how much effort I put in to get my mobility back again.

OH dear! My foot swelled up so badly yesterday and again today the Doctor told me I have to put the cast back on as a backslab and I may need to have more x-rays done next week. the pain is so bad I'd swear I had just newly sprained my ankle, but of course I haven't. I think there must be major ligament or tendon damage that hasn't healed.
Oh well, I still have my crutches. LOL!!

Hugs n roses and thank you all for your lovely supporting comments. M

Hi Meg, I'm so sorry to hear you have to have that cast put back on - I hope you can get the pain under control too. Don't you just love crutches? You might just need to rest it more - easy to say but it's harder to do, isn't it?

Thinking of you and love to you Chris

Oh Meg, what a relief - now you do what they tell you to do - so that you finish healing right and lean to be nimble again. Good luck with the fish scale skin thing. *4U

Hi Meg,

I've just come home from my physio tonight - boy is he good. I do hope you will get some relief from yours. This is my 3rd week - back and shoulders being done. Hurts like hell, but it is a good hurt if you know what I mean.

You've been on my mind yesterday and today hope you'll be up and running soon. Those 5 weeks will go quickly.

P.S. Hope your skin will not look like the picture to the right! the before shot! Skin repair is great and so is anything with Aloe Vera. Hope you enjoy the joke - it's sent with love and a weird sense of humour!

Love and blessings Chris

LOL!!
No my skin looks far worse, I can actually peel the little flakes off, look just like fish scales and peel off like them too. LOL!!

Curel is my choice, better than anything available here in Aus, worse luck we can't get it here but I buy 3 at a time when I can get postage cheap enough. 3 x 20 oz bottles just cost me $AUD88.00 but worth every penny.
Most Aussie creams rely on Lanoline and I'm allergic to Lanoline.

You can't imagine the horror i went through as I rubbed it onto my body, religiously every night, when I was pregnant with my first.

Along with drinking 5 pints of milk a day (also allergic to) and wondering why I couldn't stop scratching, blaming it on the mattress for being full of bugs,or something, we'd strip the bed and spray it with flyspray, and still i'd itch.
What a nightmare. LOL!!! (Didn't know about the allergies til some 15 years later. LOL!!!

I know just how you feel - I am also allergic to Lanoline. It was nightmare when I put it on my nipples when breastfeeding - oh! I can still recall the sensation not nice at all. Good luck with the Curel. Hope you liked the cartoon?

Love and blessings Chris
