TTT for Cracker. Please go back to the website QuiltinQueen suggested, they have a place to post a "want ad" for the fabric you need. You can explain it, give all the info, and put up a scan or photo. This site reaches hundreds & hundreds of people, so I would think someone would know. Best of luck, Marji
It just so happens I was readingmy latest edition of Quilter's Home and he has listed in there his 75 favorite websites for quilters. This one caught my eye because I was in the same situation you are in right now, about a year and half ago.
Try this site: www.missingfabrics.com
This is what Mark says about it: "You've just run out of the snazzy print you had to use. Where do you look for more? This site. There's a large posting library of requests for fabrics needed to finish projects. There are also links to shops that carry older fabrics."
Hope this helps and you find your fabric. I never did (but then, didn't know about this site back then!), but with some mastery cutting and stitching, I was able to just squeeze out what I needed. I held my breath the entire time - LOL!
I looked through the shops and couldn't find anything, but they did have some nice preices on fabric.
Thank you
Not just the shops, Cracker, there is a place where you can give a description and put up a scan or photo of the fabric you need, like a yahoo listing, so everyone in the world can read it! Go to the site & look at the listings again, that's the wonder of it, more than the shops! Best of luck, Marji
Hey, Cracker, first of all, this post really belongs in the general community section, because it's truly sewing related, not personal, and a lot more people will see it and may have some ideas. And, like Jerrilyn (jrob) said, the manufacturer would help a lot. You can search the internet by manufacturer, and then my the designer Leslie Beck, and you'll come up with lots of choices. Also, if you have the mfgr, eBay is an idea, they sell lots of fabric. Best of luck to you, because it's just AWFUL when that happens. Been there, done that. So very sorry!! Hugs, Marji
The company that printed it was Springs Creative. I have contacted them to see if they could help. I knew I sould have bought more. when i got it. That'll teach me.
Who Manufactured it? Lots of times you can google it, but just Leslie Beck doesn't bring up anything. I have gotten the designer email address before and emailed them and they have actually found me some.
