I would like to do #364999 -"quilt_2" unless I missed it in checking the list of chosen ones. I would probably make the leaves a little bit softer green.
I thought about doing that one also...Glad I didn't for it will be a lovely one for you
OOOhhh its getting tough to find one the right size so, haven't seen this one....I think this will be my block...ID# 595326
great pick - see it was hiding from everyone else - so you could pick it. *4U
I want to do this one. If no one else is doing it. Id #602929 (birdhouse) or this one id #116402 (the parrot). I really prefer the Birdhouse for one and the parrot for the other block.
Please please let me know if someone is doing these. TIA
I would like to stitch this one up for Loretta in red - unless you think the peach would be better. It is #rose1417817
Well I love the peach, not sure if we have any peach color designs....that is so sweet of you shirlene...
I almost did my rose in coral and peach. I really love those colors. But my daughter said pink so I matched the roses in my yard. Pick any color you think Loretta would like. Just a note, the rose I picked out was done in dark red colors on this site. When I stitched it out in light colors the end of the dark green stem showed through so I had to do another stitch out with darker colors. Test sew!
I would like to know if this one is taken, and can I use it more than once in the block, creatively?
Design ID #3068631

Hey Mary, if you check out some of the designs below it will give you an idea. It needs to be 4x4 plus your Cute ID name to fit in 6x6 finished block. hope this helps. I like your choice as it is being done with lots of love.
hugs n roses, m
Dear Deanna saw Nini's request here is the bird. Love and blessings Chris
bird design # 268717
Dear Chris, thanks for your help. I felt very dum not knowing how to do it. Perhaps next time I'll be able to. Love. Nini
Dear Nini, to post any image - you right click on picture and "Save Image As" it will go into your file where you keep pictures. When you come to post, you highlight the picture from your file and download it into your answer. I hope this helps out. Love and blessings Chris
Oh, it is like posting a project!...I was being very stupid, indeed! Sometimes we make simple things seem very complicated! Thanks again for your help.
I would love to participate, not sure which design...will need to look through my cuties and maybe find a cow....I would be willing to longarm quilt the finished top if you would like....
I changed my mind about what design I'm doing. Since my avatar is a yellow rose I wanted a rose. So this is what I'll use but in yellow. It is similar to shirlene's but the stitch out is different.
I'm doing: design #1353405
I think because of all the birds I will do a bird house the ID # is 611092. It has the staff for a door. If this is a dup for any let me know. I will pm Shirlene to see if she will post pic. Thanks Lisa
I have been reading posts about the fabric and have been lmao over the discussion. It really is very funny. I am glad we are all friends you made my day. Have not picked design yet will do shortly and ask Shirlene to post for me. Have a great day. Love Lisa
Posting for Barb: "I have changed to butterfly design id #2424453 Butterfly"
I think the Q would look nice with several of these, some mirror imaged, interspersed amongst the other squares.
Hugs n roses, M

not sure how to upload
Hey Sheryl, if you tell which page it is on I will upload pic for you, I got tired of opening designs trying to find the number. LOL!!!
hnr, M
Sheryl, I looked and couldn't locate it, either leave the page number and what ros it is or at least put up the url - or go to it and right click it and save it yourself - then upload it in a new comment box.
I would liked to use design 2733366
I tried to upload the picture, but I had no luck. It's a jacobian design with two birds.
Hey Waterlily, if you tell which page it is on I will upload pic for you, I got tired of opening designs trying to find the number. LOL!!!

ewroland: Here is your Design # 503866

I would like to do Design # 503866
would you guys mind if I did this and worked it in somehow? I want to change coloring slightly and dupe it over to other side to frame in the main block....hence my prior question/post
This is very pretty - until you get all the squares - you will not know how they will work together - this looks like a pretty package - might look nice with the name. *4U
Second choice 259293 since my first choice was not a 4x4.
I would like to do the cross stich floral pattern
#1446623. I have re-sized it to a 4" x 4" design.
Hope that will be o.k.
Ardith
I'll do bird design # 268717. Sorry but no luck in posting image.
Should we put an iron on stabilizer/interfacing on it that is not removed?
Somebody who does this a lot needs to tell us. Chris Pennifold, where are you? What did you do on your baby quilt? I can't say, cause when I do it it's different from normal, like that's a surprise, hee hee hee. Hugs, Marji
Oh how about quiltingqueen? We need some guidence to make this right. Hehehe!
Hi Sewmom and Marji, I only use tear away stabiliser when making my quilts with embroidered designs on them. I then have cotton or wool batting and then for the backing fabric I use cotton again. I hope this helps a little bit.
Love and blessings Chris
IM A THINKING AGAIN...this needs to be in the top left hand corner....
I will do quilt Flower#2010807 If no one else has chosen it. I do not know how to get the pic over to here so if someone wants to do it for me feel free to do so. thank U Lillian

I would like to do design id #333077 - I will try to upload it (wish me luck) hehe!!!
Laura, I wish you luck - but none is needed - I am sure of that. *4U Very pretty!
Hey, great choice, it is the second one in the quilting set that I chose the first one, the one with the bird.
I am going to change the colour of the leaves from blue/grey to green so it goes better with the Ecru/beige/cream tonings.
What do you think?
hnr, M
Meg, I was actually thinking of changing the stems and leaves to a green of some sort!! I was thinking of a seafoam green or something like that.
Yes, I agree, with the ecru, greenish leaves would be prettier, you are all so talented!! This is going to be fun! Hugs, M
Camylow hasn't answered my PM so I'm not sure what we are doing but I will do the fringed flower #2535303
http://designs.cuteembroidery.com...

Dear Grandmamek here are the 3 tulips that you want to do. I copied them from the flower site.
Love and blessings Chris
thank you Chris. I know a lot about computers but on this I certainly had a tough time trying to upload it. Guess I was going about it the wrong way.
I would like to do the design #43150 (three tulips)
However I am having a problem on getting this uploaded to show you the photo. Let me know if this design is okay.

Dibs on this bird :) Different background of course. #JL6Tjuop
Hi there Camy - I'd love to do the Pansies.
It's ID67334 I think.
Love and blessings Chris
I think i'll do this one... what do you think about ? id #614692
I can do it on cream or white coton fabric
ID #1353410 - for me - can it be stitched on light weight flannel?
Sorry, Shirlene, better if everyone uses the same type fabric, one fuzzy square wouldn't be good. And flannel washes way different to muslin. Doesn't have to be done right this minute. You have time to dig around in your stash. Beautiful choice, by the way, darned if I remember having this, and I have a membership, have to look it up!! Hugs, Marji
OK - I will look for some cotton to use. I don't have much stash - or know fabric very well.
I am working this pattern on a Blanket for a sorority group. It is beautiful.
BTW, what do you mean by:
must post id# below so no one else does???
I bags Flower Quilt #3 design id #339893 and/or Flowers Design id #577118
Yes, Meganne, just like you posted. Don't want any duplicate designs if we can help it. Hope your blood comes up to spec soon and you're on the mend, dear friend. Hugs, Marji

Does this include designs digitised by Cuties???
HNR, M
Thanks Lisa, haven't been well, haemaglobin is low, just want to sleep. Had chemo today and doctor said if blood doesn't pick up before next Tuesday I'll be having a blood transfusion. hnr, M
Sorry but what is quilters fabric?
In USA, the 100% cotton you would buy at a quilt shop. WalMart has 'quilting' fabric, but it is much lighter weight than quilt shop fabric, and a harder hand. Personally, I will use muslin, I really like the look of muslin for a quilt & is a neutral background, thicker material. Hee hee hee, your choice, bust your stash if you want. Hugs, Marji
Muslin as I know it is very thin and loosely woven and was used inside terry nappies for babies. Calico comes in various weights and colourways depending if unbleached or bleached. Sorry no Walmart over here
Uh oh, where are you from? England or Oz? I think we're having a language barrier about material. Our muslin is pretty thick, if you get the good stuff, but it has a rather stiff hand. I would never use what we call muslin against a baby's bum. Yikes, we have to find a translator, hee hee hee. Hugs, Marji
I too have been getting confused when Muslin is talked about in quilts, here in New Zealand muslin is a very soft, fine, loose weave cotton. Your muslin sounds more like our calico or cotton drill.
Hi Jasanne,
I personally like calico or cotton drill too. Muslin is so thin you could spit through it!
Love and blessings Chris
Wow, who thought 'muslin' could be so confusing, and we're all supposed to be native English speakers, hee hee hee. How about "plain beige, ecru material you'd use for a quilt top", whatever you want to call it, hee hee hee. "Calico" here is a small print on cotton, describes the print more than the material it's printed on. I think, unless I'm wrong about that, too. Hugs, Marji
Thanks Marji... your description of calico just made a whole lot of things make sense for me! (books I've read, etc.) sounds like your calico is what we would call printed poplin. Often wondered why girls would want to make dresses out of 'calico' as I know it which is a stiffish plain ecru coloured fabric.. certainly not pretty or comfortable! Isn't the internet great - we get to learn more about other countries and each other
Once again English is the common language that divides us. I am used to the British terminology and was as surprised as some of the others at the mention of muslin for a quilt.
Now knowing what Brits mean by 'muslin' I can imagine you thought we were suggesting making mosquito netting, not a quilt, hee hee hee. Isn't language funny? No wonder there are wars. Where's a Star Trek Universal Translator when you need one? hee hee hee. Hugs, M
I think we need a theme
Raels, since two have already posted flowers & birds, I think that would be a good theme, there are so many nice flower designs, & even the Jacobean birds, although for this I like the quilty birds & flowers a bit better. Good idea. Hugs, Marji
