Oh Lillian, this is such a lovely story. There are so many "nasty" people out there, they sure need some ice cream! Love, Yoriko
This is so lovely. Would loved to have seen the look on the woman face when he gave her his ice cream. Thank you for sharing this.
Hi Lillian, this is just so beautiful. What a wonderful world it would be if we could all see it through the eyes of a child. How uplifting that was - I agree with all the other remarks. How must that mother have felt, I bet her heart swelled with pride.
Just think that little boy gave up his own icecream out of the goodness of his heart. Wow! It makes one feel great to be a Christian.
Our sermon today was about Hope. The New Testament reading was from 2Corinthians Chapter 5:6-17 the most famous passage - "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come".
God bless you Lillian and thanks for this beautiful message. Love and blessings Chris
Thank U chris, I have been blessed to see a loved one become a new creation n christ, the old gone & a totally different person for many yrs. 'till he passed away. *
Things like that are what makes a good parent really proud of their children. Lillian, I am so glad you passed this story along! I have 3 great grand children and I am going to send this along to their Mom's! I have heard that out of the mouths of Babes always comes the truth. Adults would be wise to listen to these babes! Thanks Lillian! Linda
What a nice story. Thanks! I needed some ice cream yesterday, so I made myself a big rootbeer float!
Oh Lillian this is so beautiful. My 3 yr old GD also gives thanks and it is just the sweetest thing to hear. Now my 1 and a half yr old GD now says the word 'prayer' 'prayer' before we eat...she knows we are to give thanks, I just love it. I will pass it on for sure...Hugs and love Kerry
Thank u Kerry * train up a child in the way he should go & he'll not depart from his ways.
This is great. LOve,love love it. Maybe that's the reason I eat so much ice cream. I tell everyone I need the calcium ha ha
Read it before, but I love it and it's worth reading more than once! Thanks, Lilian. Martine
THAT IS VERY SWEET...HOW INNOCENT OUR CHILDREN REALLY ARE...MAKES YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR LIFE AND WHAT WE NEED TO DO MORE OFTEN IN IT...BLESS YOU FOR SHARING THIS...
