Sam :)
LOVE IT! Just so you dont have to have second best on the crystals, wrap it up Roslyn i'll take it off your hands. lol. Just joking, yes all the cushions were very beautiful and I cant wait to see what I end up with for my sissor case and it wont be any of the clues you think they are. I dont know myself yet lol. It will be interesting. Love all your work as usual.
Hi Ros, I wanted to bring this one back into the group of cushions so the other cuties can see them all together. Well done again, I just adore the peacock!!! Hugs Claire
Roslyn, such a beautiful cushion, stunning, welldone
Rosyln, I am so happy I got to see this in real life as it is just beautiful!!!!
Just stunning and the finishing with the colour ribbon and piping is supurb. Just LOVE it
Thank you . I cut a 1" strip of fabric in teal( lucky I had some in my "stash" ) for the sashing and then with the 1/4 " seams came back to 1/2 " Stippled around the bird to the sashing. The border was left plain
Roslyn, this is spectacular - missing crytals or not - very lovely work - now tell us about this challenge in your monthly projects? *4U
thank you Shirlene. Every Month we set ourselves a challege ( Sheryl's BRIGHT idea and a goodie too) and see what we come up with. Fantasic idea too see all the different cushions the girls made. Lovely and different. Next month is a scissor holder. I get to judge. What a "hoot" let's see how many I get right.
Oh my - I have a cushion almost finished (I stopped because I didn't have any stuffing) and I did my scissor holder last week - that is unreal.
This is absolutely beautiful!! You did an amazing job!
That is just beautiful. I love things with peacocks on them.
thank you so much. My room where the cushion will go has got Jacobean flowers on the cushions, in "applique" so the "bird" won't look out of place. Started another one , (practice one) will finish that one to go with the other one.
Ros, Your cushion is stunning, and even better in real life. Well done. Hugs Claire
this pillow is soooo very beautiful.. what a wonderful job you did... how long did it take to embroider..??
thank you . The embroidery took a total of about 5 hours. Sorting the threads out took nearly as long. Because I wanted a cerain colour in my "bird" I had to test the design (through PE-layout and editing) to see the LOOK I wanted . did another in blues for my siser-in-law But I wanted Jade and greens . There are so many colour combinations you can get with the peacock .
Oh my, that is just goregous. You did a lovely job.
So beautiful!!! You have to be proud of it!!*
thank you so much. I love it. Wanted one for myself for a long time . So this was an oppotunity for me to complete one
