no problem with this site for me.... and the files are safe *
Ferret Lady had a note up on her site a while back her site had been hacked, but she has fixed it. Unfortunately this is happening more often to legitimate sites. Just make sure you scan your files before you open them no matter where they come from. The best you can do is to keep your own machine with up-to-date virus software on it.
If you are going to download from the web you need to install a program that detects viruses and prevents them from entering your system. You cannot rely on someone else's word as to virus free or not since the virus may have been attached after that person downloaded their stuff. That goes for anything you download from the web. Protect yourself and the people you e-mail too.
Yes, I have security alert, anti virus program. As a matter of fact I had it on the computer before but somehow I got the blue screen of death on my computer anyway. My son is a computer geek and installed all kinds of safety stuff. *4u thanks
You should be installing a FREE program from Windows called "Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool". I have Windows Live OneCare virus protection. That tool is built into it so that I don't have to have the tool. Also if you would like to try Windows Live OneCare for FREE, you can get it for FREE for 90 days.
I have had to fix mine too, but not heard that it has happened again, hope not
Thanks, I thought I read it some place on this site yesterday. Maybe not, but thank you for such a quick response. Flowers 4u
