If you feel inclined to pray for a kitty, I'd appreciate that, too. I'm attaching her picture. "Not a sparrow falls from the sky but that the Father knows it!" Why would it have been said, if not meant? More loss is not going to go well here, I can promise that much. Minou's only 8, she's happy, goes for walks with me, not 'sick', the only symptom was weight loss. I would truly appreciate any ideas at all, I'm doing research on the internet, but if anyone has experience or information, I'll listen to it all. Thank you for even reading this far. Marji

Marj, Our pets become our children. In doing so, we hurt for them in the same way. Will be praying for God to heal her and calm your fears. Prayers and God's Blessings, Libbie

Marji, I am so sorry to hear about Minou. Our pets are part of our family and we would do anything to make their life with us better. I'm sorry I have no help for her condition. You and Minou will certainly be in my prayers.

The holistic vet was VERY hopeful that at least we can give Minou much more QUALITY time! He gave her herbs to detox, and other herbs to support her immune system, and is finding out some acupressure points to stimulate for her. She was much better when we got home than she was when we saw the other vet, she didn't even seem to mind the ride all that much. And she wolfed down chicken! Now if I can only get all these herbs into her without losing a finger....she doesn't like pills, to put it mildly, hee hee hee. All of you who have given advice, believe me it has been heeded, my computer is smokin' with the web sites I've been to! What a lot I have learned, both about helping Minou, and helping myself! I appreciate your taking a minute to pray for her little life, because she's a happy girl & I want her to stay that way until she meets her daddy Bud at the Rainbow Bridge. She was his 'baby', whether he liked it or not! She was the one who taught him how cats behave, and how precious their love is. Thank you for your concern, for sharing your grief over your own lost pets, and for caring about one little tiger cat. I am forever in you debt, all of you!! Love, Marji

Wonderful news! I'm glad you found a vet willing to try different things. It amazes me that folks in the western world don't acknowledge Eastern Medicine.....after all it has been being used for thousands of years!

This is a great news, Marji! I'm glad the vet is trying alternative medicine for Minou. Blessings&love, Yoriko

Thanks to you all, I'm doing studying & reading on the web like crazy. And I feel the prayers you send, so does Minou. We're going to the holistic vet in another city today, I'm sure he'll have help for me as well. We WILL get through this, and come out better on the other side! We are not 'victims' in this house, but victors! And nobody said for sure this tumor is cancer, anyway, it might be benign. But it's started shriking the moment we saw it, and continues to do so, in some universe, anyway. I love you all for trying and praying. We will get through it with your caring. Thanks, and love, Marji & Minou

Have you heard about Propolis? It comes from honey bees and used as a medicine. I hope this helps...

Thanks, Yoriko, that Wikipedia is really most interesting. I've heard of Propolis for lots of things, I'll try to find the Japanese study on line. My eyes are getting tired from all this reading, but I know it will help!! Love, Marji

Marji, your precious furr baby is beautiful! I know that you will not give up on her and I also know she feels so loved.....I'm sorry I don't have any curative treatments, but I know how much you love her and I know God loves the animals he created for us and I will certainly pray for her and for you to find a solution.

Oh Marji I am so sorry. I just could cry with you. Last year I lost my cat. She had a good live and lived 18 years. I know how much your animals mean to you. I can not offer any magic cures only prayers and hugs. Angie

ok here goes, my wonderful Zorro was diagnosed with a large tumor in his belly that would cut off his lung capacity therefore preventing him from breathing, the vet gave him 2 weeks tops, even had x-rays to prove it. Well being a fan of Sylvia Brown, the psychic, I got her book and in this book was a prayer to help sick, injured and dying pets. Well you're supposed to saya this prayer every day I said it several times a day, everytime I thought of it. I was so tired of crying over my poor Zorro, he had led a life of horror prior to coming into my life and was enduring constant pitfalls in his sweet life so I prayed for him constantly - it's been 2 1/2 YEARS and he's doing fine, he did have a little kidney infection which we cleared up and the dr. can't find any sign of the tumor! Make your own decisions....

Dear Marji, I'll certainly keep your beautiful Minou in my prayers. I love cats and also dogs.

Job12:7
"But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
or the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
or speak to the earth, and it will teach you,
or let the fish of the sea inform you.

Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this?

In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind."

God bless you and Minou and may he live a long and contented life. Love and blessings Chris
