throwing up and diarrhea pale no energy and not resting well. Deana took her back to the doctor this morning and they took blood and urine and they want to see her again tomorrow. Deana called this evening and said she was sleeping good so Deana was going to go to bed hile she could. Because Deana has had to miss wirk because of Adelaide being ill her boss is threating to fire her if she misses any more work this month. Please pray for both of them. Thank you

Will remember to pray for you and yours. A little one sick is such a heartbreaker. I know with 3 gkids of my own, how horrible it feels to not be able to make it better. I do hope little Adelaide is doing better by now! Too bad her boss is being silly and controlling, because she really can't fire her, I'm pretty sure. If she has a business like day care in an Army town, then she has to get a plan to deal with these kinds of things, not go all to pieces about it. She needs a core of people she can call on a 'temp' basis so the regular workers can do what is required for kids, family, briefings, etc. If she doesn't pay for time off, then she'll still be paying only one wage. The 'temps' wouldn't have benefits, but might like just a bit of extra once in a while, even like older grannies in town. There's always ways to solve problems like this, and beating up the employee is not one of them. All you end up with is scared, unproductive workers. Perhaps someone could make these suggestions to her, a peer of hers, probably not Deanna. I do hope everything is going better for all of you!!! Hugs, Marji

My prayers are with you! Maybe if we all pray Deana boss will have a change of heart. I know that the FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act) will protect you. It has in our family when I had to take off a lot of work for our son, Who has had 23 operations over his 22 years.

I hope and pray Adelaide will be better soon and Deana will be able to give her all the love and affection she needs right now without a dismissal by her boss! It's always a juggling act, combining children and work, but a bit more compassion and understanding is not too much to ask for.

This lady need to take a crash corse in compassion. I find it strange that she has a child care in a town thats mostly army families.Yet she gets angry when the girls have to have off for family briefings. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

I am so upset about this post - I can't believe any one in their own right can stop a mother from being with a sick child. I don't understand those laws! What about compassionate leave surely that man has to understand your family comes first - put the job on hold and help this family out! There is nothing worse than a sick child - you feel so helpless! I do pray that the Lord will heal the sick and broken- hearted. And please Lord come and dwell into the heart of Deana's boss and soften his heart.

hELLO, i MADE A POSTING UNDER MARYMOORES...I WILL LOOK INTO MORE ACTIONS YOU CAN TAKE...ONE GOOD ONE IS IF HE THREATENS TO FIRE HER AGAIN, YOU CAN ALWAYS CALL THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND THEY WILL LOOK INTO IT AND TAKE ACTION...WE have a decking buisness and I have the rules and regulations somewhere...I will try to find out some more on your rights...Hope you guys all get better--stress, sickness--work lol deanna

ya know her boss is a real jerk tell her to check into that i know here in tennessee it is against the law for your boss to fire you because a child or imediate family is sick and u have to take care of them i would like to talk to this boss myself man thats not right poor baby i feel for her and mom trust me i will be praying for them noth and u as well i know it is hurting u also

I think that is a Federal law in the states...its the Family Protection Law or the Family Act or its called the Family Leave..depends what your company calls it in their words...but it is Federal....You could always go to B.O.L.I. BUREAU OF LABOR INDUSTRIES AND REPORT IT THERE.
