Thanks for letting us know the surgery went well.
Hope the pain isn't too un bearable.
I am glad the surgery went well. I know from experience that the pain can be tough to deal with. I always took pain meds about an Hour before PT. it really helps. The PT is so important. I shall keep you and your husband in my prayers. *4U
Sure am glad the surgery went well with min. amt of pain afterwards. It is not going to continue to be this easy but you must keep him going on his P.T. or the surgery will be in vain. Make sure they keep enough pain meds in him to start with so he will get in the habit of doing his therapy with mininum amt of pain. They can wean him off the meds some at the time and he will ease into getting used to some pain at a time until he will not need any meds and the pain will be gone on its own. There is no need in him hurting when he does not have to! Good luck and God spped with the healing. Linda in Ga
That is supposed to be Good luck and God speed with the healing. I do wish I could type and hit the right keys! Linda
Good, glad he's not in pain! Now you'll have to make sure he does that PT!! Thanks for checking in! Hugs, Marji
Glad he's doing well mysew. Do they have him in the inflatable leg stockings? *4U
yes.. he was feeling great until the pain meds started to wear off.. he is hurting even with them now.. but he is strong and walking with a walker..
Glad to hear the surgery went well. Wish him a speedy recovery and to you lots of patience with the patient.
Glad to hear it! Remind him to hit that pain pump, if he has one, about 30 mins. before PT! World of difference! You also heal faster with less pain. Tell him to hang in there!!
Hope he continues too be well, my husband just had surgery on his knee also but he has been in lots of pain for the last couple of weeks.
Gad that the surgery went well mysew, let'shope your hubby has a quick recovery.
Please wish him well from me. And tell him to make sure he does his physio or the surgery will be wasted.
hugs n roses, M
This surgery is terribly painful, glad to hear he has adequate pain control. This first physical therapy will also be very painful. This just takes time.
