Thank you, that is a perfect way to dress up a boring sweatshirt.
What a great idea! You could even purchase a slightly larger size sweatshirt - this way the sleeves would be full length (not the 3/4 they are in this video) and then you could have it slightly overlap the front (by maybe 1.5"?) and have it a button up front all the way down...but then don't forget to stabilize where you sew the buttonholes! Oooooohhhhh, the possibilities are endless!
Thanks so much for this link. I Can't wait to try one of these!
Thanks for posting this. I have two sweatshirt jackets that have been in the making for years. I just put them aside because I couldn't decide how to finish off the front and bottom. This gives me an idea that I like.
I HAD to HAVE one So I made one this afternoon...S E W easy!!! used a gray sweatshirt, black trim and a black/white polka dot tab...with a white button...haven't done the embroidery...but thinking of an applique circle with the tab fabric and a button in the middle:) Again Want to say THANX for the inspiration!!!

These are easy to do. I did several 20 years ago (before I was fortunate enough to get an embroidery machine) for nieces and moms.
U know Nancy is one of my fave people. Love to watch her show & I've learned a lot from some of her books. Thanks *
