I've seen Stacked Embroidery done with names. For instance Rachael would be an "R" monogram with "Rachael" embroidered in cursive across it. I've also seen "HOME" in bold letters with "where your heart is" embroidered across it in a different font. It's a kind of Word Art.

As far as I know it is when more than one design is on top of each other - an example is when there are 3 frogs sitting on top of each other!

That is what was explained to me.

Not sure if I am explaining it correctly!

Perhaps someone else can explain it better OR have another explanation if mine is incorrect!
