Thanks! I have not heard that term. Learn something new every day. :)
and ya know this was the hardest thing for me to learn how to do is to stack a name
Again learned something today on cute, as every day. Thanks for the question and all the explaining
Here is an example of a stacked embroidery. (Sometimes, I just need to see pictures.;) This is from Five Star Fonts.
Sometimes a pic is worth a thousand words, hee hee hee. Thanks, Jerrilyn! Hugs, Marji
Great explanations from both of you.
Love and blessings Chris
I've seen Stacked Embroidery done with names. For instance Rachael would be an "R" monogram with "Rachael" embroidered in cursive across it. I've also seen "HOME" in bold letters with "where your heart is" embroidered across it in a different font. It's a kind of Word Art.
As far as I know it is when more than one design is on top of each other - an example is when there are 3 frogs sitting on top of each other!
That is what was explained to me.
Not sure if I am explaining it correctly!
Perhaps someone else can explain it better OR have another explanation if mine is incorrect!
