Colleen, sounds like you are having the sort of weather that we are - we have only had 3 days without rain this month - this isn't the rainy season for Utah, either. You have as many answers as I would have come up with - hope you get it under control. Keep it dry and away from moisture. *4U
Waterlily, Where in Kansas? I am in Independence, KS. You need a de-humidifier in your home. I have a sister over in Missouri and she said she has one and can't belive how much water she has to throw out on rainy days. Mildred
I was told to keep them in zip lock bags and I don't even live in a humid area. It just keeps them safer in case it gets humid. It's awfully expensive to lose a whole roll.
OK, this is too funny...do you live in NJ? We have been having rain up the gazooo! I am growing gills! Even my pond fish can't take it..btw..what is a WSS? I hope you can unlimp it! LOL We are now having rain all this week. It does let up for a few hours before it downpours again. UGH....
I live in AR. When we came here I wastold two different thing to do to avoid this problem with WSS. I keep it in a Freezer bad zipped and I use mu dust buster to remove excese air. Then the other thing was to keep it in a brown bag away from lite and moister. I do both haven't ad a problem.Hope it gets dryer your way.
I just keep mine in a zippered type back and squeeze out all of the air I can every time.
Hi I keep mine in a sealed plastic bag and depending where you live, try those little parcels of Silicone that you get with some types of footwear or what about the little containers in your medication, maybe, good luck
I always keep my WSS stored inside a plastic zip lock bag. This has worked very well for me. I live in very humid Kansas. Hope this helps. ***
Thanks! I have taken some of the advice here and put it in a ZipLock bag. I hope it isn't too late.
You know how some people put rice in a salt shaker to keep it dry? You could try putting rice in some kind of mesh bag to keep your WSS dry as well. Let me know if it works.
Hey... I put rice in my salt shaker. Learned from my mother. I didn't realize other people actually did it. LOL!
I was thinking of like to make a mesh bag, could be made from two old laundry dryer sheets sewn together with an opening to pour the rice in & then sew it closed.
I don't know if this is of any help, but would storing the WSS in a vacuum style bag with a terry-towelling cloth work? The vacuum type bags where you have to use the vacuum cleaner to suck out the air.
