I don't know who it was....sorry, but I wouldn't half them or sew up the sides. I would put my embroidery at a nice interval from the bottom and third the towel(folding long ways) and starch, and iron it and sell it like that.
They measure 28 x 29" and I was making dish towels. If you third them then what would it be your making. Thanks
Third them by ironing in the left side 1/3 then the right side 1/3 so they hang pretty and display well. No cutting involved. Sorry my explaination wasn't well done.
Thanks jrob, good idea. I had already split one down the center, then embroidered a redwork chicken then coffee stained it and it is a nice replica of primitive.
I bought some at Dollar Tree Store, but I did use them to make a Goody bags for my son's party a year ago. I posted at the project section. Flower and XoXo
Oh yes, I saw some at our Dollar Tree, but they are a stiffer fabric than those at Wal-Mart.
If you have a Sam's Club nearby, check them out in their restaurant supply section. I have found some fantastic flour sack towels there - a dozen for around $10. Can't remember the exact price, but I'm a cheapskate, so it had to be less than $10 or I would have left them on the shelf.
I don't have a Sam's club card, but don't think I would use it enough to constitute having it. Thanks for your input
they have them with the kitchen towels, they are 5.97 for a set of 5, I love them, they are nice on your hands too and dry very quick.
Yes I bought some, but don't know if I should cut them in half to embroider and sell. Or did you double it and sew it on the sides?
