CONGRATULATIONS!! I have 8 grandkids under 7. 2 boys and 6 girls. Only got to be present at one sonogram but it was a really emotional one!! I saw the triplets in 4D. Let me tell you there wasn't a dry eye in that room. I adore them all but those 3 girls are so special. 2 1/2 now and fit as fiddles. Thanks to the prayers of virtual strangers like our Cute Family. BTW I love the name "Jo" for a girl. Would have used it myself but I had 3 boys. One of the triplets is named Emily Jo tho. Give Mom my best.

I hated my name as a child...only until the past 10 years have I started to like it...Kids teased me unmerciful for having a "BOYS" name even though Jo is a girls version....

No pink for this little girl (Ha, according to her mother that is) Great-grandma is doing it though, I am shooting for lovely purples since that is my favorite..

Isn't technology magnificent? Imagine seeing 'pictures' of your little baby in the womb, in 4D yet!! I'm amazed. I'm so happy you got to go with your daughter! And go for the pink frills, Deanna! First, it'll pay DD back for whatever grief she gave you as a child, hee hee hee, and Kierra will probably actually like pink! She'll at least have to put your clothes on the child when you come over, hee hee hee. I was a tomboy too, and I suffered my mother to dress me in frills because I was a patient, long-suffering child. I detested pink. Oddly enough, in my old age I've become drawn to pink, my poor late Mommy might be getting her payback on me yet, hee hee hee. No 'frills' though, won't do frills. Hee hee hee, you enjoy yourself, hugs, Marji

Deanna, what wonderful news - I love little girls - my first was a boy and he did get spoiled, too. I have a few girls, too that came a bit later on. I could just kiss little babies all day and care for them. Hehehe!

I don't like the diaper poo though...can live without the mess...Think I will give that to the hubby...But I do sooo love that baby clean smell...Its on to the countdown with the sewing....

Grandchildren are the best. I just had my 6 year old Grandson stay with me for 2 weeks. He left today and I misss him already. How exciting to be able to share this moment of discovery with your daughter. Congratulations.

I didn't get to dress my daughter in frills, she would have nothing to do with them..children are our practises,,,,grandchildren are perfection children cause they do no wrong...is that how it works...

marjialexa by marjialexa 28 Jun 2009

I love it! Children are practice for the perfection of grandchildren. What joy you all must have, being mothers & grandmothers. I missed that. Better so, but still. I'm only mother to cats. Hugs, Marji

Congratulations camy sooo proud for u. I really did not care what sex my 1st GG baby was as long as it was healthy. My g.daughter thought I would b disappointed if it was a boy since I had had only girls. I wouldn't swap Caleb for anything, he is so precious & loving oh of course a holy terror also LOL *

Congratulations Deanna, how lovely for you to know already what the baby will be. Our son Ben and his wife Naomi are due at the end of October and I'd love to know so that I can finish off the Tubby quilt. Never mind I'll just have to be patient I suppose. Little girls are just gorgeous so much embroidery to do for them.

Love and blessings Chris

I wish we could of had the 4d ultrasound...you can see exactly what your baby looks like in detail...didn't get to, but I help make the cables that do all the ultrasound devices....

Its no pink for this little girl according to my daughter...unfortaunetly she doesn't know her grandmama very well..she already has lots of pinks and frills planned for her since Tiff was a tomboy and hated dressed and girly things...

Congratulations. There is nothing like a little granddaughter. Our little one, Holly is 4 years old and is our daughter all over again. She was even born on the same day as her mother (Dec 26) My husband spoils her rotten just like he did when our daughter was her age. We have 6 other grandchildren all boys. Holly is really out numbered, but she can rule when they all get together.
I love the name they have picked. Hope everthing goes well and your daughter has a easy delivery and a healthy beautiful little girl. Lynn

This is really cool...I was the first daughter, my daughter was the first grandaughter, and Kierra will be the first great-granddaughter....It was boy season in our families and will be wonderful for a girl...

thank you, but I chose her name and she agreed..Jo is my middle name and Kierra comes from the show "Reba" which always reminds us of my mother..they are so much alike.
