A while back a discussion was held on the stretch netting used to make tops for our spools of thread. Also, you can buy them ready made because one came with my machine. The question is where?

Most stores that sell Viking sell them.

Hi, yes I plead guilty to making my own thread nets, cost was $11.00 Aussie for 100 nets. (link below) you will find all the answers in the posts on the project.
They work really well, and still fit even as the thread runs down.
You are so lucky to get free shipping from ABC so I'm glad you found your answers.

Went to Hobby Lobby and Hancocks, neither had the stretch netting. Ebay is great and ordered more. Thank you.

I know meganne found some fabric and made her own. I can't find the post at the moment but Meg might see this and help you out.

I have also seen them for sale on ABC embroidery http://www.abc-machine-embroidery... and Anna Bove http://www.annaboveembroidery.com...

I don't know where you can buy them but I have heard that florist shops will often give them to you if you ask because they throw them away after receiving them on some of the flowers they get.*4u
