what does anyone use to put words together and what works on viking machine if anyone knows.I can use any help and thanks

I use embird to set it up on the computer then transfer it over to the machine. U have been given some good advice regarding embird. try it, you'll like it. *

You can get a free trial of embird. have plenty of time to give it a fair trial. u get it from 'Secrets of Embroidery' click on conection when it opens click on the TAB (embird) then on free trial. Best of luck. *4u all

I use embird on the computer it give u the size in either inches or mm & much more

I have the 4D program it does put things together, but I wish I had saved the money and bought embrid the price is better and to me it does more in just it's basic program and they have add on's for good prices too. I do plan on eventually getting this myself, my 4D orginazer always shuts down with error's when I do a search through my files. I have so many subfolders to keep the files size as small as possible and it is so unstable that it still shutsdown.

I have a Viking Diamond & SE as well as the 3D software. You can use the machine, but I like to combine on the computer & then take to the machine. As for the size..since you don't have the complete 4D package, it would have to be trial & error using the fonts on your machine. I'm sorry. USUALLY the newer machines will adjust the stitch count if you enlarge or shrink it.

Each model of Viking will work differently. What model do you have? That may make a difference in the help that is provided and by whom. I have the SE. You can create words in the machine. I also have software, 4D Extra that has fonts built into it that I use.

I have the scandinavia 300, And I have been looking on line I don't think I can use any thing My machine is a 4X4. and it would have to be small unless something would resize and tell me the design size. I have the 4d organizer, it only transfer designs and keeps a file of your designs

i need a way to measure between each letter and that would work for me,when I take my material out it moves around.
