I made these for the grandkids last Christmas. I put different faces on them to match each child's personality and had lots of fun deciding which expression resembled each one.

I sorted through my designs that had faces and edited them into the bulbs. There is a set of 'Cool & Crazy Snowflakes' @ EmbLib that I used some of the faces from and just various freebies, etc. I had collected through the years. A few I did myself to get the 'look' I was wanting. (I ended up with over 100 before I picked the ones I liked best and started stitching them out!)

Sorry, I've been on 'grandma duty' since I've posted these. The bulb design was a freebie I had downloaded years ago (not sure what site, sorry!), but it needed LOTS of editing before I got one that stitched out properly. I also edited each design to add the faces.

These are so adorable. You can't have 14 grandkids can you? I'm sure they will be treasured for years to come. I have lots of Christmas bulbs but none with the faces. We'd all love to know where you got them. Please post the site if you can.

I have 7 GK - they each received 2 (I tried to make them with their favorite colors.) Had downloaded this design years ago and don't remember the site. However, Embroidery Library has a set of Christmas bulbs with faces here - http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/Prod...
