by the way my son is really in to pokemon so i dl alot of them and i think i will go for the first time make a quilt .. is there a simple side for my first meet and greet with quilt???
You go Soi. I need some more space before I can go crazy with dl...LOL ;D *2U
I downloaded a few and saved it to my favs and can go through at my leisure.
I've DL a few soi but n really busy. got that grandson n Huntsville a large Auburn clock made & sent it to him the other day. He loved it & said he had hung it in his office. The chinese site is mind boggling & with my Dial Up takes forever to DL anything. *s for u
In this bad economy, it beats to go shop & spends money. Now, I make sure stay home & download freebies. By the time I am done with those 2 chinese sites, I bet I save bunch & the economy should be back to normal. LOL
Thank you, I will download acouple and stitch them out. Are you able to read their terms of use? H&*.
To fasten the process you could download the catalog of "free" designs (short EWG) and write down a list of those you are interested in (the numbers of pics are the same as the designs).
Then you type in the search box just the number of the interesting design.
the link to the catalog I posted here.
How do I figure out which is the catalog. Could you be a little more specific. Or am I just not seeing it. I tried different things but nothing that looks like a catalog. Thank you *4u
good work my friend i am to busy with a toothache and tigers right now lol
I decided to download a few and realized I can go back anytime and download more.
If you use Babelfish to translate, Chose to translate from Chinese simple to English or whatever language you choose. I tried Chinese traditional first, and the translation was dreadful! But the designs are beautiful!
What's the use in collecting designs if you don't stitch them out? Some are cute, but some are terrible. I'll sit back and wait until Cuties post some of their projects done with them. But have fun anyway. Too bad they aren't indexed so you don't have to waste time going through the cr*p. :)
auntbaba has posted some in projects girl she done a cat and a giraffe they look very nice
well i have a big database and i love it if someone want something useally i have it already and i don't have to hunt .
but in this side i only dl the things i really can use i skip the animals and if i need one i will dl it later
I have downloade about 2000 so far and have decided to do some odd times as time permits from now on.
do skip some that I do not like.
How marvellous that you speak some chinese.
I have found some that I do not seem to be able to download, so will shout when I come to that, THANKS
I am up to page 500 but am being very selective which designs I download. Although I cannot read the details I believe the designs are from all different members, some appear to be digitised very well and others look atrocious.
I suggest anyone downloading should first click on each design (picture) to open and view a large picture of the stitchout so you can see how good they are. Just MHO.
Hugs n roses, M
are you dl'ing them ALL or picking and choosing????
sme of them are rather crappy...use your best judgement...
Wow! That is a lot of designs! Are you going to test them before you download the rest? And is it a safe site? Is this the site you are talking about? *
Stitchship, these are lovely designs on this site. Lots of delicate flowers that would look good done tone on tone, and borders like for pillowcases or sheets. Some are lovely. Thanks, this site is easier to navigate. I downloaded 3 designs. Hugs, Marji
I am glad that you like them. I haven't tried any of them, so if you stitch them out please let me know if they work well. Thank you!
iI haven't even started yet...just finished dl the embroydrk site so I wouldn't have to renew another month...going to tackle a few other things before I do this one....that's where i am
if you need help to understand chinese, holler at me. I understand some and always can ask my mother to help to read.
