Question for you - I keep getting email messages asking if anybody has a 'magic box' for sale. What is a magic box??????

For older embroidery machines with special cards to hold the embroidery designs, you need a device to write designs from your computer to those cards. One brand is called Magic Box, also Amazing Box and various others. That said, I don't know why you would be getting emails about buying one. Maybe someone got your address from a group or something you signed up for? I would just delete them, and possibly report them as spam.

Jude's comment came while I was typing. Didn't see it until I had answered also.

a magic box is a device you connect to your computer to write to a card that would then be taken to your machine to stitch out the design. It also allows you to change formats of the design before writing to the card. Hope all this makes sense. Here is a link for you to get better information.

thanks for the info, couldn't figure what in the world the silly thing was and I sure don't need that with 4D embroidery I'm pretty well set - except for digitizing and I really don't think I want to try that, I'm to old to learn ......

Just a guess; perhaps they want to engage you in a conversation and gain your trust, only to gather information about you and then do some harm. Sorry to be so pessamistic on a Sunday morning.
