recently I posted a question asking for a couple of words of what you get out of cute...then I asked for you to start thinking of border colors....greens and earthtones seem to be the choices so far....SO now I am asking for the wording coloring...the picture below is the color of material to be used for the wording strips....I chose a rust coloring for wording and added a floral setting using the greenery.....The flower is in white so as not to take away from the blocks...Is this ok for you guys, do you want lighter tones, black lettering, or do you want to do the words up in variety of colors coming from each of your blocks??? Please be very honest and help in this decision of what you would really like to see.....thanks deanna

I think it looks great just the way you have it. Keep the words all in the same color, it will be better for continuity. The flowers and leaves - everything is perfect!

I love your sample, I would keep all the same color for the words, to unify it and make it flow around. This is going to be a unifying element, bringing all the separate blocks together, so keep it the same. The rust is a good choice, dark green would also be a good choice, but I like the rust with the green leaves & white flowers. You got a good brain for this quilting stuff, Deanna!! I think this is just lovely! Hugs, Marji

I think that what you have as a sample will work GREAT... Don't change the colors...it will make it too buzy...ya want it to POP OUT and catch your eye as it travels from side to side and up/down!!

I like the single colour for the words, and I think Rust or orange is lovely, if people want various colours why not try a variegated thread with autumn tones instead, It would certainly make it easier than having to keep changes threads I recently got one that went from amber and finished up at maroon with the spectrum of autumn tones between. The flowers either side are delightfull I love the sample. Hugs and flowers to you,
Ruth
