yes, I live in the Sierra Foothills above Sacramento on the way to Lake Tahoe and this is our 7th day in triple digits, I get all the watering done very early morning when it's cool, then I come in and do some embroidery most of the day, since it's too hot to be out.
It's 17 C or 62.6 F, wish we could average, that would make a nice change for both of us..
here it is 16 ° C. .. the summer is strange: very hot (32°C) then very cold ... :o(
you could send some down here. winter in aus only 13c here. but better than we had last summer. had 3 weeks of 40c+ hottest day was 48c.
9 pm in California (sacramento area) and it is 106. It is a dry heat though. That is when I miss the San Francisco area where it seldom gets over 80 degrees. I am hiding in the house. Love aircondition.
It is nice and cool here in Minnesota, My favorite temp low 60 at night and mid 60 to 70 day time. I love it I do not have to run my air.
115 degrees in Phoenix AZ Too hot for me. I stay in the house and sew.
Uh yuck I lived the first 30 years of my life in Phoenix. Dry heat or not, anything over 110 is too hot. In CO Springs for the past 9 years now and LOVE it. Now I think the 85 temps we have been having the past few weeks is too hot!
Will be going to vacation in San Diego in a few weeks, cant wait!!!
It was 89 today in Barnwell South Carolina supposed to get down in the 60's tonight Cool man Cool!
In East Tenn today was beautiful. It's been a nice July, so far. Strange. My daughter & family are camping somewhere near Chattanooga & it was supposed to be about 60 at night. Her 7 yr old was THRILLED to take her blanket sleepers!!! Tent camping, so glad it's going to be cool!
The TV weather guy said Altanta may break a record low for July tomorrow morning. Fine with me!!!!
Camy, I live in West Virginia and the only 90 degree temps we have seen this year were in early May. We had like 3 or 4 days worth and that is all. Since then it has been anywhere from upper 60's to mid 80's. I would like to take this global warming theory of Al Gore's and shove it down his throat. Our summer is not even summer. It is like late spring. No sunshine, lots of rain and it has been a losy summer for the pool.
You may have some of my heat....Please take it, I will definetly share with you
It says 97 in my part of California and my crazy daughter says she wants to go out and take a walk. I think it involves boys at the pool. Had to hurry her ice cream cake into the house quick!
Nice at the beach in Capitola yesterday though.
I'm at my Mom's in Mariposa, CA (outside of Yosemite)... try 106! This is for the birds! I'm going home on Monday to my San Diego climate. lol
Yes I have been gone from San Diego for 4 years now. Wish I was back there. We have been having up to 100 for a week here in Kansas.
It is kinda cool here in Iowa...74 now but I wore a hoodie this morning.
Really nice today in Greater Cincy ... however, one day it is nice, one day it is hot, one day it is raining, one day it is chilly, ... as the saying goes, Give it a day and it will change. I don't know if it is summer, fall or spring.
In lower Alabama, along the Gulf Coast, only you can imagine. However, thank goodness we have had a cool front come through which is supposed to break the heat wave. Humidity is high and the temps reached the three digits several days for about two weeks. We are in the 90's today.
We had a cold front come through. Only 84 degrees here in Georgia today. It's 5:30 pm and I am ready to start cutting the grass.
isn't it said that a cold fron doesn't mean what it sounds like....Gonna do the same latter on tonight also.
Deanna, it is 102 here in Boise Idaho. No humidity thank goodness. Only down in the 70's last night. Very unusual. Usually it cools off at night.
Here in Columbus Ohio is 70 F. And I really happy with it. It is nice...
We have been in the 90s for some weeks, yesterday it rained & today we r at 79 degrees really, really nice. *
raised in Arkansas...born in Florida...moved to Oregon and wouldn't change it for the world....I hate snakes
ticks, chiggers, black widows, tornados
and those horrible cock roaches...
There are more Ga. Gals here than I was aware of! Born in Bibb county and now in Fayette county. I did not stray too far from my original home. Of course, if I could have my choice, I would be in Severe county Tn. To me, that is some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. I almost made a move there a few years ago but I guess with my health the way it is the Lord knew what was best for me. When I get ther, I do not want to come home! The North Ga mountains are beautiful also. I am sitting here on this computer dreading going back out in the heat to get a prescription filled. I guess it is true that home is where your heart is!
Well, in Northwest Pennsylvania, this is the strangest July in a long time, I have to wear a jacket every morning and evening, and the high on Monday is only supposed to be 69F!! The corn and other crops are way behind, it's been so chilly here all summer. I'm not complaining, I don't like the heat, but turning on the electric blanket in July is ridiculous!! Hee hee hee, hugs, Marji
Marji, it is the same here in northeast PA. Has been real wet and cool since early May. I am ready for some warmer weather.! It seems every where I go I am wearing a sweater!!
