Lay them all out on the living room floor move them around until the layout satisfies your eyes and forget who is where, we are all one big happy family...don't sweat the small stuff...you have taken on a very large project, relax and do what you think looks best .... hugs x0x0x0x
Deanne, I think you should just lay out the blocks the way they look best, in my opinion most cuties wont give a hoot where they are in the scheme of things in the project, after all what is top, bottom or middle?.... just a perception from where you happen to be at a point of time. You are doing a fantastic job, and dont worry about hurt feelings. If you can get it arranged by computer and it saves you some time and heartache, go for it, otherwise use your heart and lay it out as you wish.cheers ruth
Must be fun to play around with all those beautiful squares. I'll be happy where ever you place mine.
It is really cool to hold something from each of you and know that somewhere across the world this block was made....I am in awe of that....
OK. Send me the pictures you have and I will play around with them for you, but I must warn you that Colours can appear different on different monitors and in my honest, but humble, opinion you would be far better off using the actual blocks and rearranging them until you come up with something pleasing to the eye.
Since you are the instigator, organiser and brains behind this idea, we, and i think i speak for all of us, are quite happy to accept whatever layout you come up with and there will be no Bit***** later as this is being made with love and should be above any personal aggrandisement.
But, if you really think it is necessary, I do have the programs and expertise to arrange photo's into a layout for you.

I have the Electric Quilt 6 programme. If you would like to send me the photos and specs I can put it together for you in a virtual quilt.
Good onyer Ricky and sincere thanks.
Sounds like just the ticket!
I may have to investigate that program.
hugs n love, Meg
funny thing that ...not being a computer guru myself, simplyrosie volunteered and when I went to send the file folder holding all the pictures, it wouldn't let me....I am working on that part 2...Think I had better take a crash course on computer knowledge or go buy the computer
bible for dummies.....
I repeat....
It doesn't need to be perfect as in the eyes of the receiver, it WILL BE!

Hi Deanna, I agree with everyone else on here.
Place mine wherever you think it should go. We are leaving it up to your good eye for colour and placement.
All of the blocks I have seen so far are beautiful and as they have all been made with love - it will be gooooorrrrgggeeeooouuusss!!!!!
Thank you for doing all of this.
Love and blessings Chris
I'm going blind...never trust a one eyed, blonde lady with kids...hehehe ...just kidding....we are coming so far along and I want it to be purfekt....sorry, I just had to do that....

Please wait for my block. I won't mind where you place it, as long as you let mine be part of it. I am working on the design right now.
I am just so blessed to be part of this wonderful project.
not putting it together, I am just needing to get the wording going....Don't worry we are waiting for your precious block to fit in with all the rest of the precious blocks....
I really have no problem with where ever you put mine. Anything you do would be great. Have you received mine yet.
Deanna, we all will be so happy just to be a part of this project that I cannot imagine anyone being upset as to where their block ends up!! Put mine whereever you think it should go!!!!*
I think we all trust your decisions. We're just happy to have ours represented on it.
Any where but the back is fine - don't forget the one that I still have to stitch for Loretta - use a picture of it - to decide placement - but it will be red - not peach. *4U
I have openings for anyone that isn't here yet...Yes hers will be on it also....have no fear for anyone not here...
I feel the same as everybody else. I do not care where my block goes. I think you have very good ideas and have good judgement. I think the blocks will coordinate just fine and I think the end result will turn out great.
thank you...I have to say I just finished cutting everyones to size that wasn't and layed them out for a lookee....It is beautiful so far, but I am waiting to get a few more in that are coming before it is publicized.....I think everyone will be really happy when they see them all layed out together....
Deanna, mine can go anywhere you put it on the quilt...I love your ideas and creativity!!
Deanna, I agree with Barb. No one should care where they are placed. I like your idea of laying it out by color seperation and animal vs flowers. We want it as sewmom said "As long as the overall picture is pleasant to look at". This is a gift and we trust your judgement. :)
Now trusting me is a very scary thought...I think everyone will be quite surprised really....
Have sent you PM re a computer guru...
Name anywhere on quilt is fine....so long as it is not on the back...hehehehe.....
We may have to make this a 2 sided one if the blocks keep coming in the way they are...No you will be right in view with evryone else....
Sorry I can't help ya...but mine can go anywhere you put it!!!
I don't care where mine is. As long as the over-all picture is pleasant to look at.
Deanna, I think the only way this would work is if they were in a Word or Publisher document, I'm not sure a 'photo layout' would work with the small upload sizes we have, like in projects. Maybe it would, my imagination might not just be able to see it. Anybody have better ideas, hard as it is to believe, gasp, I could be WRONG, hee hee hee. Hugs, Marji
Oh, yeah, placement. Does this really matter to anyone? If we're at the bottom are we going to smell feet? Hee hee heee

hey I was trying to take it as a suggestion from (someone no names)...I have them all in a folder if that would help.....my co-worker tried to explain it and we sortof was able to accomplish something of the sort at work...just too afraid to try it on my own...I AM NOT computer illeterate...
camyI wish I could help u. That is definitely beyond my expertise. As for me I don't care where I am, bottom, middle, side, behind someone else, No one should care where or how u align, they should b really grateful u r doing this. I know we have some smart folks out there so someone will b along to help. Love ya lady *
cute picture...but I think she has a handle on things...me I am trying to figure out how to stay cool...its just plain hot...
I agree, as for me, I am just grateful that I am allowed to participate. I feel so privileged to be part of this worthy project.
