This will be the 3rd time I've replaced it in about 6 or 7 months. My machine is a Singer Quantum Futura. I have filed it down the first few times from when the needles jams into it and makes little holes and knicks, but now it won't stay in place to even draw up the thread through the throat plate. UGH! Of course, the timing couldn't be better (sarcastic) because I was doing a whole bunch of bibs to sell at the local Farmer's Market next weekend. Not only do I not have the money right now to go buy a new one, but even if I did my local store up here that sells them hasn't ordered any new ones in yet. Apparently they were placing an order on Saturday when I called, but not sure if they'll get them in time for me to do up some more before the weekend.

I miss not being able to embroider. At least I got all my quilt blocks embroidered out and sewn together for the wedding I'm going to in September. I still have to take a pic of it and post it in projects for you all to see.

Please send me good wishes for my luck to turn around...I really, really need it. It's been really crappy lately...

Sorry to hear about your machine. How old is it? Surely the same problem should not keep happening if you get a new part?

Oh bummer queen Nothing like being out of commission. Have u tried ordering any of your parts over the internet sometimes I find that cheaper even if u pay shipping. Also quicker than when u have to wait for your dealer to order. *
