- my sister in law had a CVA. Luckily his son was found quickly and quickly called for help! it will be long, but it should not have sequels...

- the companion of my mother has just learned he had leukemia ... he made a ton of testing and waiting to find out what to do next few days...

there are days like that :o(

Oh, Sylvie, I'm so sorry!! I certainly will send prayers out for them both. These things are bad, but not so bad as even 10 years ago, medicine can do much more to help now. Perhaps the bone marrow transplant could help your mother's companion, if there is a good matching donor. I hope your Sister in Law's recovery is quicker and easier than you think. I'll be praying.
